To excel in this role, you should possess:A demonstrated ability to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, and problem-solving, including the use of AI tools and automation of workflows.7+ years of experience in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering. Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise in cloud software solutions. Experience with Higher Education Solution Software sales. A collaborative approach in working with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services. Strong territory management skills, including pipeline building and executing sales strategies in partnership with Sales counterparts. Willingness to travel as needed.

Join our dynamic Higher Education Solution Consulting team at ServiceNow, where your contributions will play a critical role in shaping our future success. As an integral member of our team, you will be pivotal in driving revenue for our innovative products, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Management, and our executive team. This is a hands-on technical consulting role, where your expertise in solution delivery and positioning will shine throughout the sales cycle.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Solution Consultant, you will leverage your advanced technical skills to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions during sales cycles while meeting quarterly and annual sales targets for your designated territory.

  • Serve as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team to support product sales.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations that align our solutions with their needs.
  • Address technical inquiries and product feature questions from customers, channel partners, and ServiceNow colleagues.
  • Provide valuable feedback to product management regarding enhancements that can better meet customer needs and deliver additional value.
  • Collaborate with fellow Solution Consultants to share best practices and reusable assets, enhancing team quality and efficiency.
  • Stay informed on competitive analysis and market differentiation strategies.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
