The Role
As an AI Engineer, your role will be pivotal in enhancing Viktor's capabilities. Imagine a scenario where a user in Slack requests Viktor to reconcile their financial data, Viktor will execute this task in real-time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your contributions will lead to increased customer satisfaction and business growth.
You will empower Viktor to perform more tasks for a broader range of customers. Your innovations will set a standard that others will aspire to emulate.
Working remotely means you will be an integral part of the team, collaborating directly with the founders and having ownership over significant aspects of the product. You’ll be able to see your code in production on the same day you write it. Our workflows are predominantly asynchronous, and we emphasize written documentation of decisions while coming together in-person a few times a year.
What You'll Do
- Develop the agent runtime. You will be responsible for the execution environment, tool orchestration, and memory management that enables Viktor to translate user commands into actionable API requests.
- Implement integrations. We connect with numerous tools such as Salesforce, Notion, Stripe, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Shopify, and more. Your expertise in OAuth, webhooks, schema mapping, and error handling will be crucial as each new integration expands our customer base.
- Manage infrastructure. Viktor handles over 600,000 tool interactions daily. Your role will ensure that our systems remain efficient and cost-effective through effective container orchestration and autoscaling.
- Deliver product features. You will see the direct impact of your work as user-facing features are rolled out through Slack and Teams within hours.
- Contribute to diverse projects. With a small team and expansive objectives, you will engage in a variety of tasks beyond those outlined here.

- Your contributions are deployed daily, with your name featured in the changelog.
- A feature you developed directly leads to new customers.
- You can address issues promptly, even during off-hours, because of your deep understanding of the system.
- The founders rely on you to manage tasks they previously handled.
