Role overview
Encora is seeking an API Technical Lead to guide the design and implementation of scalable, secure backend solutions. This position involves making key technical decisions, defining system architecture, and mentoring a development team. The role is based in Peru with a hybrid work arrangement.
What you will do
- Design and lead architectures built on REST APIs.
- Define technical standards and development best practices for the team.
- Oversee the implementation of solutions in Azure cloud environments.
- Manage deployments and application operations in Kubernetes.
- Supervise integration between various systems and services.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor technical team members.
- Identify ways to improve performance, scalability, and security.
- Coordinate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development and technical leadership roles.
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong background in system integration and application deployment.
- Ability to review code and mentor junior developers.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
