Your Contribution
In this pivotal role, you will be immersed in our product's ecosystem. Your focus will be on solving genuine complexities rather than just adding features. At Mollie, we navigate intricate financial operations like money splitting and payment routing, presenting unique challenges that require innovative engineering solutions. This is your opportunity to influence product development and address challenges that propel business growth throughout Europe.
You will play a key role in evolving an underdeveloped product area, providing you substantial autonomy and creative freedom in your work. With the guidance of a dedicated senior engineer, you will grow alongside your team and the product. Your efforts will directly contribute to unlocking new revenue streams for Mollie, assisting countless businesses in managing their finances seamlessly.
Your Deliverables
Take ownership of smaller challenges and execute defined tasks from conception to delivery, covering shaping, building, testing, and evaluating feature performance.
Design, develop, and maintain APIs, services, and systems, ensuring consistency and safeguarding against breaking changes.
Produce high-quality, testable, readable, and maintainable code in at least one object-oriented programming language such as PHP, Java, or TypeScript.
Engage in collaborative discussions to identify tasks and work alongside the team and stakeholders to navigate challenges.
What We Seek
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering.
Demonstrated ability to commit to delivering high-quality solutions.
