ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a highly analytical and motivated Associate in Strategic Finance to join our dynamic team and support the Head of Strategic Finance. This pivotal role will involve evaluating and executing a diverse array of strategic and financial initiatives, including financing activities, investment opportunities, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and other tailored opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess robust financial modeling skills, sound business judgment, and the capability to collaborate across various departments in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This position offers a unique chance to engage with Hut 8's top corporate development initiatives and work closely with senior leadership by contributing to and eventually steering these strategic and financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive analyses and models to guide financing and investment decisions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of capital structures, financing scenarios, returns profiles, and sensitivity analyses.
- Create valuation materials and analytical outputs to facilitate executive decision-making, including scenario comparisons, transaction economics, and strategic alternatives analyses.
