Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in one of the following engineering fields:Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. Experience in programming and maintaining PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron). Development and support of HMIs and supervisory systems (SCADA). Knowledge of industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, CAN, IO-Link). Strong organizational skills and discipline. Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and logical diagrams. Integration of sensors, actuators, frequency inverters, servomotors, and robots. Commissioning and start-up of automatic and semi-automatic machines. Clear communication with maintenance, production, and development engineering teams. Proficient in failure analysis, troubleshooting, and cycle optimization.

About the job

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation systems for both automatic and semi-automatic machinery.
  • Develop retrofit projects and enhancements for existing machines.
  • Program, calibrate, and standardize PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory systems.
  • Participate in the commissioning, start-up, and validation of new equipment and production lines.
  • Diagnose automation failures to minimize downtime and rework.
  • Optimize cycle times, machine sequences, and energy consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and current regulations.
  • Integrate machines with data collection systems and industrial indicators (OEE, efficiency, scrap).
  • Create technical documentation: manuals, programming standards, diagrams, and procedures.
  • Train operators and maintenance technicians on automated systems.
