Maxana is on the lookout for a skilled Azure Virtual Desktop Administrator to oversee and enhance our Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of AVD environments, ensuring they remain highly available and perform optimally for our users. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining processes and enriching the user experience within our dynamic cloud-based ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, session hosts, and application groups.
- Maintain and update golden images for AVD deployments in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and utilization of AVD resources, taking proactive steps to optimize both performance and costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AVD-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and application deployment challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our IT infrastructure in the AVD domain.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and guidelines for AVD administration processes and best practices.
- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies within the AVD environment.
