  • Bilingual Proficiency - Spanish and English

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Speech Language Pathologist at AIM, you will play a crucial role in enhancing lives through effective communication strategies. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Designing and conducting individual and group therapy in alignment with IEP goals.
  • Assessing student progress and determining appropriateness for therapy service termination.
  • Performing independent evaluations to establish eligibility for services.
  • Actively participating in IEP meetings for suitable placements and goal-setting.
  • Collaborating with educators to promote communication skills within classroom activities.
  • Providing guidance to school personnel on recognizing and addressing communication challenges.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, students, and parents regarding therapy objectives.
  • Creating a supportive learning environment that considers students' developmental levels.
  • Coordinating evaluations of speech-language pathology services and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Assisting in the selection of appropriate equipment and instructional materials.
  • Maintaining and filing all required reports and records.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to maintain emotional control during stressful situations.
  • Consistent daily attendance and punctuality are critical.
