Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience coordinating all phases of design, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Skilled in producing and organizing construction documents for intricate projects, with a focus on building systems integration. A strong desire to collaborate with a passionate team in a fast-paced environment. Interest in sustainable design practices and innovative building methodologies.

Utilize ICON’s advanced technology to create sustainable, resilient, and affordable housing solutions that enhance human dignity and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance ICON’s concrete 3D-printed (C3DP) wall systems to prioritize human comfort, safety, and sustainability.
  • Create comprehensive construction documents, including drawing sets and assembly details, with a keen focus on window and door systems, waterproofing, and weatherization.
  • Develop construction diagrams that facilitate effective communication of sequencing for the integration of building envelope components and systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to establish best practices for resilient design and optimal thermal performance of the printed wall systems.
  • Experiment with innovative wall profiles and configurations for future design applications.
  • Organize ICON’s detail library and assist in developing a catalog of wall systems suitable for various climatic conditions.
  • Produce drawings to effectively communicate design intent for research and development purposes.
  • Work closely with software engineers and construction operations to ensure the successful execution of wall construction in the field.
