Candidate Profile: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required. You should possess significant experience (ideally between 5 to 10 years) in Sales or Account Management within a complex, technical B2B environment. As a results-oriented professional, you will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial, pricing, and legal aspects. You excel in building trust and actively supporting the achievement of collective goals across teams. Your engagement with others is marked by continuous interaction, dialogue, and effective communication. You are known for being both direct and diplomatic during negotiations, demonstrating excellent timing. An excellent listener, you are autonomous yet a strong team collaborator. Languages:Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is a plus. Some travel will be required for this position, and we offer the possibility of flexible arrangements.

Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager (F/M/X)

At Nemera, we are dedicated to advancing innovative drug delivery solutions that significantly enhance patient outcomes. To fuel our ongoing expansion, we are seeking passionate individuals eager to contribute in the role of Business Development Manager (F/M/X), located in Lyon (7e).

In alignment with our sales strategy and objectives, and under the guidance of the Sales Director, you will be pivotal in driving sales growth and profitability for strategic accounts across Europe. This role encompasses the development of our product lines (including Parenteral, Ophthalmic, Respiratory, ENTD - Ear Nose Throat, and Dermal) as well as our services (such as Design Research, Human Factors, and Contact Development).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Key Account Management

You will cultivate and sustain relationships at all levels within customer organizations, particularly within purchasing, R&D, technical packaging development, manufacturing, and marketing, while facilitating both senior and operational connections.

Regular governance processes will be organized, including participants, agendas, and presentations.

You will foster effective collaborations with Nemera’s manufacturing sites and project management teams to support our customers.

Margin improvement will be a focus, achieved through strategic price adjustments and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.

 

- Business Development and Prospecting

Identify and develop new business opportunities across various franchises, both within our existing customer base and beyond, using comprehensive market research, networking, and regular customer engagements.

You will prepare compelling presentations, respond to RFI/RFQ requests, and manage costing and quoting processes with professionalism.

Lead the sales strategy for your designated market/region in close collaboration with your line manager and the marketing team.

Engage in contract negotiations, working alongside Nemera’s Legal department and customers to ensure efficient internal approvals and to negotiate contracts that secure long-term business interests.
