We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within the federal sector. This pivotal role involves the identification, qualification, and acquisition of new business prospects, with a strong focus on overseeing and facilitating the entire proposal lifecycle from opportunity inception to contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue federal opportunities that align with company strengths utilizing platforms like SAM.gov and other market intelligence resources.
- Formulate and implement effective capture strategies, including defining win themes and competitive positioning.
- Oversee and support the complete proposal lifecycle, including pre-RFP, RFP response, submission, and post-submission activities.
- Collaborate with proposal teams, technical subject matter experts, and leadership to craft compliant and compelling proposals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.
- Develop and manage teaming agreements with prime contractors and subcontractors.
- Maintain a robust pipeline, support bid/no-bid decisions, and provide precise forecasting.
