In the role of Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while enhancing Michels' market presence and brand recognition as the contractor of choice, particularly in the Pumped Storage Hydro market. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with clients and partners to create a robust project pipeline and formulate winning strategies within your designated industry, while educating stakeholders on collaborative delivery methods. You will also represent Michels at industry-specific trade shows, collaborating with management and marketing to propel growth through compelling messaging and strategic investments. Furthermore, you will guide Proposal Managers and Marketing in developing marketing materials, ensure the accuracy of the Salesforce CRM tool, and provide insights during the bidding process to establish effective pursuit strategies and proposals. During the annual business planning cycle, you will gather industry insights and actively contribute in business development discussions, facilitating cross-selling opportunities and promoting the One Michels strategy. Lastly, you will devise targeted win strategies for projects, attend relevant industry events to expand your local network, and assist in crafting high-quality proposal documents throughout the pursuit process.
