Role Overview: Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative (BDR) team bridges the gap between marketing qualified leads and the sales organization. Reporting to the VP of Business Development and SMB Sales, this role guides potential customers through their early interactions with Appspace, helping them identify solutions and preparing them for engagement with sales executives.
Strong relationship skills, curiosity, and a focus on results are important for success in this position.
What You Will Do
- Quickly and professionally qualify warm leads and turn them into sales opportunities.
- Work with tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Chili Piper alongside the team.
- Take initiative in developing outreach strategies for new lead generation.
- Research online to improve and supplement lead and account data.
- Participate in product training to build a strong understanding of Appspace offerings.
- Attend meetings with prospects, handling introductions and follow-ups.
- Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine appropriate next steps.
- Maintain active communication and engagement with prospects to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Share new lead generation ideas with the sales team during weekly meetings.
