The Role

Are you ready to elevate your career within a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment? ShiftKey, recognized by Fast Company as one of its Most Innovative Companies in 2024, seeks a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our high-achieving sales team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales Enablement, you will be instrumental in generating product demonstration meetings and driving business opportunities with both new and dormant clients. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your consultative sales skills while significantly contributing to our growth and success.

Where You'll Work

This position is based at our headquarters in Irving, Texas. We believe that the best onboarding and collaboration occur face-to-face, so you will initially work on-site five days a week during your initial months. After the ramp-up period, a hybrid work schedule (one remote day per week) may be available with manager approval, contingent on business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary responsibilities will include initiating outbound calls and qualifying potential clients for our products and services. You will collaborate closely with Sales Account Executives to arrange product demonstration meetings and, in certain situations, lead the demos yourself. Your daily activities will involve:

  • Reaching out to prospects across various market segments to introduce ShiftKey’s services and schedule demonstration meetings.
  • Qualifying leads and maintaining ongoing communication through phone, email, and meetings to meet and exceed individual monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Participating in enterprise meetings and working with internal stakeholders to optimize sales strategies.
