Position Overview: As the Program Level Business Development Lead for Space Force/SSC, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion within the Department of Defense (DOD) and associated federal agencies. You will identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities for our innovative products. The right candidate will possess a strong history of winning DOD contracts and demonstrate a thorough comprehension of the federal acquisition process, from the development of requirements to contract fulfillment. This position demands a strategic mindset capable of cultivating and nurturing influential relationships with government and military leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surpass quarterly revenue and profit targets, aligning with annual projections.
  • Forge and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders within the assigned sectors and new markets as directed by leadership.
  • Continuously develop and maintain connections with customers and vendors.
  • Oversee and present a weekly sales pipeline detailing opportunities, quotes, and orders.
  • Gain insights and develop opportunities within the market at both Headquarters and Programmatic levels.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish requirements for future bids and contract quotations for provided equipment and services.
  • Travel to client locations and participate in symposiums, conferences, and trade shows to generate sales leads.
  • Conduct proactive market research to share competitive intelligence and report potential opportunities and threats to the organization.
  • Provide pricing proposals and establish appropriate credit terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • Utilize internal systems for processing sales quotes and orders efficiently.
