Job Summary
Aretum is currently in search of a reliable and professional Cleared Security Escort to contribute to operations at a government installation in San Antonio, Texas. This role entails escorting uncleared personnel and visitors within controlled or restricted areas, ensuring adherence to all site security protocols, and helping to uphold a secure working environment at all times. The ideal candidate will possess an active security clearance, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, demonstrate sound judgment, and adhere to established security protocols in a highly regulated setting.
Responsibilities:
- Escort authorized visitors, contractors, vendors, and other personnel in restricted areas following site security procedures.
- Maintain continuous visual oversight and control of escorted individuals while within secure environments.
- Ensure compliance of escorted personnel with all installation, safety, and physical security regulations.
- Verify access documentation, identification, badges, and escort authorization before granting entry into designated areas.
- Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas, sensitive information, equipment, and government property.
- Promptly report security incidents, suspicious activities, access violations, safety concerns, or escort-related issues to designated security or supervisory personnel.
- Coordinate with security, facility management, and operational teams to facilitate daily site access and escort needs.
- Maintain precise escort logs, visitor records, and necessary documentation in line with contract and site procedures.
