Role Overview
This full-time CNC Laser Machine Operator position is based in Auckland and works the afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (40 hours per week). The role starts with a training phase on the day shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) for up to three months, depending on skill development. Early transition to the afternoon shift is possible based on progress.
What You Will Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC laser machines
- Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues
- Maintain production quality and accuracy to set standards
- Keep documentation accurate and moderately detailed
- Work independently, managing workload and meeting deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating CNC laser machinery
- Experience with overhead cranes or forklifts is preferred (training available)
- Valid driver's license (F-endorsement a plus)
- Commitment to health and safety
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit and dependable
