Required Qualifications:Proven experience in the insurance industry or a related field relevant to the assigned account portfolio. Strategic thinker with the ability to align client priorities with market conditions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in leading and mentoring team members. Proficient in delegation and holding team members and partners accountable. Familiarity with Applied Epic software is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel). Willingness to travel up to 40% based on client account needs. Commitment to enhancing technical knowledge in both the insurance sector and clients’ industries. Possession of at least one general insurance designation. Pursuing a formal specialty designation (such as ARM, CPCU, etc.) is a plus.

Join our dynamic team at IMA Financial Group as a Commercial Account Executive, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our key clients in the Food & Manufacturing sector. As a strategic advisor, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing accounts while also driving new business opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Embody and promote IMA’s core values in all interactions.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Oversee the entire renewal process, including policy reviews, strategic planning, loss analyses, and program designs for existing accounts.
  • Assist in acquiring new business and establishing new accounts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clients' operations, strategies, and needs year-round.
  • Initiate the renewal process by formulating a Game Plan and performing comprehensive policy and document reviews.
  • Lead meetings with key stakeholders and clients to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Develop marketing strategies, assess submissions, and negotiate with underwriters to craft compelling proposals.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through education and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers.
  • Manage a portfolio generating between $1 million and $1.3 million in revenue.
  • Take a prominent role in managing three or more large and complex client accounts.
  • Dedicate 5-10% of your time to supporting producers in securing new business.
