Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to manage daily operations on our construction sites. This role involves overseeing project planning and execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor adherence to safety protocols and collaborate with the safety department for corrective actions.
· Possess a strong understanding of project plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
· Plan and supervise all field activities, including construction methods, workforce deployment, material management, equipment usage, and work schedules, while accurately documenting hours worked.
· Coordinate subcontractor activities and performance sequencing effectively.
· Develop and enforce project schedules to ensure timely completion.
· Liaise with various departments (Quality, Equipment, Safety, etc.) to ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and inspections are aligned with field activities and the project timeline.
· Execute project closeout procedures promptly and accurately (including As-Builts, Punchlist, Certificate of Occupancy, etc.).
· Foster collaboration with Clients, Project Managers, and Building Management.
· Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with vendors and suppliers.
· Maintain a daily log of job site operations and report to management as needed.
· Schedule and manage inspections for necessary permits.
· Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors, safety personnel, and foremen.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or a degree in Construction Management is required.
· Proven ability to lead and manage construction projects effectively.
