Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the construction industry. Leadership: Demonstrated supervisory skills to effectively manage crews and subcontractors. Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and building codes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to project managers and clients. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore and Microsoft Excel.

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience in the commercial sector. Experience in retail remodeling is highly desirable! Our client, a dynamic and growing construction firm, is eager to welcome a new team member to oversee an exciting 18-week project in Freedom, California. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity that may involve some travel.

  • On-Site Leadership: You will be the on-site leader responsible for managing daily field operations, directing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will act as the primary field representative for the General Contractor, managing scheduling, material coordination, and daily reporting.
  • Site Management: Oversee all onsite activities, manage personnel, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe job site.
  • Schedule & Budget Adherence: Develop and track daily and weekly schedules, monitor progress to meet deadlines, and control costs effectively.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule and direct subcontractors, addressing any disputes that arise.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and building codes, conduct safety inspections, and manage inspector visits.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and field records.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that construction meets or exceeds blueprint specifications and quality standards.
