Bauer Media Outdoor is a prominent Out of Home media owner, operating over 33,000 advertising sites across the UK. Having transitioned the construction of our advertising sites in-house a few years ago, our team has successfully completed numerous site builds, including our latest digital units, billboards, and large Storm installations.
As we gear up for exciting projects in the coming year, we are looking for a Construction Operative to join our expanding team in Portbury, Bristol.
Key Responsibilities
- Team up with a partner to transport digital units from the depot to various installation sites.
- Break ground and install digital units.
- Replace component parts on digital units as required.
- Collaborate with your crew partner to manage tasks efficiently and work alongside local teams.
- Adhere to the Construction Design and Management regulations of 2015.
- Ensure proper traffic management procedures are in place before commencing work.
This role will involve travel to sites across the South East region and occasionally beyond based on business needs. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £36,000, an annual bonus, 25 days of paid annual leave plus bank holidays, training and development opportunities, and fully expensed tools and PPE.
As this is a physically demanding position, you will be required to work at heights using a small step ladder, so teamwork and looking out for your partner is essential.
If you do not currently hold a Class 2 HGV qualification, we will provide training and cover the associated costs. However, you must be able to commute independently to our base in Bristol.
