Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and uphold a culture of safety on all construction job sites.
- Conduct thorough site visits and safety inspections, compiling detailed reports on findings.
- Ensure adherence to Tippmann Group’s safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in incident investigations and lead comprehensive risk management assessments.
- Continuously enhance safety programs through policy evaluations and development.
- Oversee and assess the performance of subcontracted site safety consultants.
- Effectively communicate to rectify unsafe behaviors and conditions on job sites.
- Guarantee compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Engage in pre-construction meetings with project teams and high-risk subcontractors.
- Monitor and report subcontractor citations and other safety key performance indicators for future project considerations.
- Manage additional safety-related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within the construction industry.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Outstanding written communication and documentation capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and job site operations.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time, field-based role on active construction sites.
- You will encounter dynamic work environments with varying climates and site conditions.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and responding to real-time hazards.
