Consulting Controller
As a dynamic consulting firm based in Greensboro, we specialize in empowering mid-tier businesses with our mission to Strengthen American Business. We are seeking bright, proactive individuals who are passionate about driving positive change for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Bookkeeper adept at managing multiple clients. You will excel in communication, handle daily operations with precision, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail while working independently as required.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and/or execute daily financial transactions, including the verification, classification, calculation, and recording of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Prepare journal entries including loans, taxes, bank charges, 401(k) contributions, etc.
Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, sales tax, payroll taxes, and 401(k).
Prepare and monitor monthly financial statements along with all supporting documentation.
Manage and reconcile credit card transactions.
Collaborate effectively with our in-house Consulting Controllers and CFOs.
 
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Eligible to work in the United States.
Hands-on accounting experience is required.
Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrate effective time management.
Exhibit excellent client interaction abilities.
Show strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with various accounting software; QuickBooks online experience is a plus.
Quick adaptability to new systems, processes, and procedures.
Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Proven ability to implement solutions and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Capable of managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
A positive attitude is essential.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Advanced computer skills are advantageous.
