About the job

As a Data Analyst / Data Quality Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding, enhancing, and safeguarding our data integrity. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Data Stewards, IT, and various departments (Finance, Planning, HR, Fleet, Project Management). Your expertise will help the organization accurately interpret, structure, and leverage data within the framework of:

  • ERP migration from NAV to Business Central
  • Master data development
  • Reporting and operational processes
  • Data quality and governance

You possess strong analytical and communication skills, allowing you to delve deeply into data while clearly and practically conveying its business impact.

1. Data Analysis & Profiling

  • Analyze source data from NAV/4PS and other systems.
  • Conduct data profiling to understand quality, structure, and inconsistencies.
  • Identify errors, duplicates, missing values, and discrepancies.
  • Provide recommendations for data controls, remediation, and quality enhancements.
  • Utilize Power BI to visualize data quality metrics (completeness %, duplicate rates, invalid values).
  • Support migration activities such as mapping, validation sequences, and cleaning scripts.

2. Data Governance & Quality Processes

  • Contribute to data definitions, naming conventions, and data standards.
  • Build and maintain a data catalog and data lineage documentation.
  • Establish data quality rules and controls (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).
  • Monitor data flows and assist data stewards in their responsibilities.
  • Develop practical documentation for non-technical departments.

3. Business & Stakeholder Communication

  • Translate complex data solutions into clear, actionable information.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts for functional and technical alignment.
  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders including project management, HR, procurement, planning, and finance.
  • Actively contribute to a constructive, solution-oriented culture.
