At Databricks, we strive to empower our customers in tackling the most challenging data problems through the innovative Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will be pivotal in driving this mission forward. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our sales and field engineering teams to enhance the adoption and growth of the Databricks platform among our clients. You will also ensure customer success by increasing focus and technical accountability for our most complex customers, guiding them in optimizing their Databricks workloads and maximizing their return on investment.
This position is a hybrid of technical expertise and commercial acumen. You will be responsible for stimulating growth within your designated customers and use cases by engaging their stakeholders, fostering executive relationships, coordinating with specialized teams within Databricks, and formulating strategic plans. Simultaneously, you will act as the post-sale technical authority across all Databricks products. This role requires you to leverage your technical skills and credibility to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels. You will report directly to a DSA Manager within the Field Engineering organization.
Your Impact:
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects to understand the demand plan for prioritized customer use cases.
- Lead the technical account strategy and execution plan post-technical win for key use cases within our most strategic accounts.
- Serve as the accountable technical lead for designated use cases and customers across various sales teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful onboarding, enablement, and healthy consumption of Databricks workloads.
- Act as the primary contact for any technical inquiries or issues regarding production or go-live status of agreed-upon use cases, often supporting multiple use cases within large, complex organizations.
- Utilize Shared Services, User Education, and Technical Support resources, escalating to expert-level technical staff as needed to address tasks beyond your expertise.
- Develop, own, and implement strategies for accelerating key use cases into production, collaborating with Professional Services resources for successful engagement delivery.
