We are on the lookout for a Design Engineer to enhance our dynamic design team. Reporting directly to the Design Manager, this role involves aiding in the development, coordination, and execution of exceptional design solutions for a significant data centre project in Finland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Design Manager in the creation and coordination of project designs from initial concept through construction to commissioning.
- Generate, assess, and coordinate design drawings, calculations, and specifications that align with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Collaborate with internal design teams, BIM teams, and external consultants to ensure cohesive, clash-free design outcomes.
- Support the Technical Submittal (TS) process, ensuring all submissions comply with project specifications and timelines.
- Address design inquiries and Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly and accurately.
- Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of documentation and revisions.
- Engage in design coordination meetings, workshops, and internal evaluations.
- Facilitate change management processes by identifying design modifications and evaluating their impacts on cost, schedule, and constructability.
- Ensure all design outputs meet quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in the creation of as-built drawings, O&M documentation, and final handover requirements.
