Join Synapse Analytics as a DevOps Engineer II, where you will play a pivotal role in the creation and maintenance of dynamic, scalable, and high-value hybrid infrastructure for our flagship products. Transitioning from basic infrastructure tasks, you will take charge of intricate deployment components across both cloud and on-premises settings, greatly influencing our infrastructure roadmap and strategic direction. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, enhancing their skills and contributing to their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee infrastructure as code for significant product enhancements across cloud and on-premises systems.
Ensure reliability and feasibility of infrastructure designs through close collaboration with design and engineering teams.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines to maximize value, speed, and alignment with hybrid deployment strategies.
Work closely with stakeholders, designers, and development teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver cohesive software solutions.
Regularly communicate infrastructure decisions, progress, and challenges with management and cross-functional teams.
Lead infrastructure review sessions for peers and junior DevOps engineers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Research and stay updated on the latest market trends and technologies, actively proposing and assessing new opportunities for our hybrid infrastructure.
