Role overview

The Director of Accounting leads accounting operations for a diverse portfolio in major markets. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, ensuring financial integrity in a complex industry. The role involves shaping accounting practices and supporting the company’s continued growth.

What you will do

  • Oversee all accounting functions, including preparation and review of financial statements, budget management, forecasting, and treasury activities.
  • Interpret and implement new technical accounting standards. Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures for consistency across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, supporting ongoing improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with teams throughout the company to strengthen financial planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas where processes can improve.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage the annual audit process, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance.
