Role Overview
As a Graphic Design Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting interactive and practical sessions focused on the core aspects of digital design, animation, video editing, and 3D content creation. You will mentor students through hands-on projects utilizing industry-standard tools such as Photopea, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, CapCut, Blender, and Unity. The primary goal is to impart foundational knowledge of visual design principles, animation basics, and digital media production while fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and a project-oriented learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate structured sessions on digital design, animation, video editing, and 3D modeling fundamentals.
- Instruct students on the application of digital creative tools including Photopea, Figma, Canva, Inkscape, CapCut, Blender, and Unity.
- Guide students through practical projects such as logo design, vector illustration, video production, and basic 3D modeling.
- Introduce essential design principles such as composition, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Teach students to decompose complex drawings into simple geometric shapes while designing engaging visual assets.
- Explain fundamental 2D animation concepts including animation basics, character joints, and shape-based animation techniques.
- Demonstrate the application of animation in games, cartoons, and digital media.
- Cover video editing essentials including clip trimming, timeline arrangement, text overlays, and basic audio adjustments.
- Introduce 3D modeling concepts using Blender, focusing on interface navigation and creating low-poly models.
- Clarify the distinctions between Eevee and Cycles render engines and assist students in exporting visual outputs.
- Support students in importing assets into Unity and organizing them for foundational game development workflows.
- Mentor students through exercises and projects, promoting creativity and experimentation.
