About the Position

Crusoe is in search of a proactive and experienced DC Operations & Deployments EHS Safety Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This critical role, situated in our San Francisco office, will be a key player within the Global Safety Pillar, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Safety. You will support deployments, data center operations, and R&D projects while playing an essential role in advancing HSE performance, processes, and culture across our infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in safety programs along with outstanding communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead safety initiatives. This is a full-time role.

Your Contributions

  • On-Site Safety Leadership: Provide dedicated safety oversight for active deployments and operational data centers, acting as the primary safety liaison for internal teams and external contractors.

  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate risks to workers, provide recommendations, and develop action plans to minimize risks effectively.

  • HSE Program Development: Create and implement diverse HSE processes, including Right to Know policies and Hazard Communication programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures. You will also track and report on HSE objectives and metrics, integrating HSE into management discussions and priorities.

  • Incident Management: Lead thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis following any incidents, failures, or accidents. You will actively track and ensure the completion of corrective actions, reports, and audits.

  • Training and Culture: Foster a culture of HSE awareness through effective communication and training initiatives.
