Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning. Ensure site safety in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor, including the establishment, management, and closure of the safety file. Foster and uphold a robust Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture within your team. Work alongside the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and clients to manage project schedules and guarantee timely delivery. Administer all costs associated with the electrical package, including the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Electrical Team, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment. Supervise daily site operations, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. Monitor subcontractor activities, evaluating progress against timelines and manpower levels. Manage the “In Progress” snagging system, ensuring weekly punch lists are submitted by supervisors and distributed to relevant subcontractors. Provide direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for centralized tracking. Participate in site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering evaluations, planning sessions, and handover meetings. Generate weekly cost reports detailing orders placed, expected materials, and labor levels. Create internal weekly progress reports summarizing supervisors’ updates, highlighting completion percentages based on WBS codes and addressing any risks under Winthrop’s control. Issue external weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, outlining unavailable areas, delays, design shortages, and completion percentages. Coordinate material deliveries to align with the project schedule.

You will supervise subcontractors and site teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality regulations while collaborating closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver the package punctually, within budget, and to the highest standards.
