Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Become part of the team developing the Priva Edge Gateway, which leverages Microsoft’s IoT Edge platform. This next-generation, Linux-based, cloud-connected gateway serves as a vital link between cloud technology and hardware controllers.

You will help ensure that Priva products are high-performing, secure, and reliable, driving sustainability, food security, and efficient building operations. By working closely with hardware, you will transform innovative product ideas into trusted solutions that endure.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain embedded software solutions that fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability).
- Translate user stories into efficient, maintainable code adhering to Priva’s engineering standards.
- Design and implement unit, functional, and integration tests informed by risk analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA engineers, and fellow engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve incidents and issues, driving structural improvements.
- Engage in refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives to enhance product quality and team effectiveness.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
