Work Model: This is a fully on-site position at our Tempe office, Monday through Friday.
About the Role:
We are seeking an engaging and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Decision Support Systems team within the Analytics group at Carvana. Our team is responsible for developing algorithms, models, and optimization tools that enhance Carvana's logistics operations, managing the movement of over 15,000 vehicles monthly across the nation using our car hauler fleet.
In this role, you will oversee a team of three engineers while actively contributing to coding efforts. Your responsibilities will include building APIs and complex system architectures that facilitate computationally intensive optimizations and ongoing optimization processes. You will mentor team members, enhance our engineering and testing methodologies, and help scale our systems to accommodate the growth of our company. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who excels in both technical and leadership roles and is eager to make a significant contribution in a fast-paced environment.
