What You Will Accomplish: Lead and mentor a team of 6–8 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and establishing team rituals that promote excellence and professional development. Collaborate with product, design, and user research teams to translate customer challenges into a dependable, technical Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a scalable architectural strategy. Engage with cross-functional partners to balance major feature launches with continuous, iterative product improvements. Steer the articulation and implementation of the team’s future roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Engage extensively with customers to validate technical feasibility and co-create workflows that address real-world challenges. About You: 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years in a managerial role overseeing a technical team, showcasing a proven history of developing engineers at various levels. Quickly earns trust, bringing intelligence, empathy, and technical expertise to engage deeply with architecture, workflows, and trade-offs alongside a talented engineering team. Demonstrated experience in building and scaling new products or incubations, operating with urgency and resourcefulness while navigating ambiguity effectively.

You will be instrumental in shaping the long-term roadmap for the team, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across functions to design and launch outstanding products.

This position is based in our Vancouver office, following a hybrid work model, with in-office days set for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asana team members have the flexibility to work remotely on Wednesdays. The option to work from home on Fridays may vary depending on your role and team collaborations.
