As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our technical excellence and driving innovation. You will collaborate closely with a skilled group of leaders across various technical domains and report to one of our Senior Engineering Managers, while working alongside a product manager who oversees the same teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful delivery and outcomes across multiple engineering teams. You will cultivate an environment where engineers excel and develop both individually and collectively. This includes clarifying expectations for team members, ensuring our processes facilitate rather than hinder progress, and collaborating with engineers to produce high-quality software.
You will support two teams, each consisting of around five engineers. The Backend Core team focuses on delivering essential backend services, libraries, and tools that power Pleo's platform. Meanwhile, the GenAI Core team specializes in centralized GenAI model routing, providing tools and implementation consulting for product teams innovating AI-driven features within Pleo’s offerings.
