George P. Johnson Experience Marketing is excited to announce an opening for an Experience Strategist in our dynamic and expanding team!

This position is hybrid, requiring attendance at either our Boston or New York City office at least 2 days per week.

Your Impact

As an Experience Strategist (XS), you will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies for a diverse array of projects, such as proprietary events, activations at third-party trade shows, product or service roadshows, and seller enablement initiatives. Your primary focus will be understanding the needs of attendees, whether in-person or virtual, and creating tailored solutions that drive engagement and action on behalf of our clients. This role is essential at GPJ, and you will be a valued member of both the client and agency teams.

You will cultivate and sustain 'Trusted Advisor' relationships with creative, account, and client teams, encouraging a culture of collaboration and trust. Your responsibilities will include formulating comprehensive experience strategies that integrate physical, digital, social, and mobile components. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating reusable templates that encapsulate best practices in strategy, research, planning, and analytics, enhancing our approach across various accounts.

A key aspect of your role will be to develop clear and compelling creative briefs that inspire innovative ideas for both you and your internal partners in 2D and 3D design. You will engage actively in ideation sessions aimed at brainstorming and concept development, collectively crafting inventive solutions.

Furthermore, you will take the initiative to research and explore new experience strategies, technology-driven engagement methodologies, and industry-leading practices. This commitment will enhance our capacity to advise clients and internal teams while fortifying our strategic recommendations. Your role will also include conducting research and planning activities related to experiential marketing solutions, which may include workshops, stakeholder interviews, and program audits.

Moreover, you will play a vital role in auditing and analyzing events to provide valuable insights. Your ability to lead client discussions and presentations, both in-person and via phone, will be crucial in effectively communicating our strategies and recommendations. Your strong creative aptitude will be paired with exceptional verbal skills, which include writing, presentation, and facilitation development, as well as a refined appreciation for 2D and 3D design elements.
