As the Team Leader for Tooling Preparation at LEONI, you will oversee and manage the Tooling Preparation organizational unit, ensuring alignment with our defined objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your role will involve identifying areas for improvement, providing consultancy, and enhancing service delivery within your area of responsibility.
You will be accountable for adherence to standards and governance, leading your direct reports effectively. Strategic planning of regular team activities will be essential to ensure all stages of activity are covered and all requests are addressed promptly.
In this leadership position, you will define the objectives, tasks, and responsibilities of your team members, providing clear instructions and monitoring performance outcomes. Assessing training and development needs, you will support the professional growth of your direct reports, ensuring they can effectively apply newly acquired skills and knowledge.
You will also propose and implement initiatives aimed at improving team performance, fostering organizational flexibility, embracing diversity, and planning for succession. Your functional accountability encompasses Tooling Preparation at both plant and product levels, ensuring the implementation of the LEONI Operating System within the production facility.
Additionally, you will ensure that all tooling preparation activities are executed efficiently and to defined standards, managing the construction and modification of various production facilities through internal or external resources, including frames, assembly modules, machined parts, and tools.
