THE POSITION
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Production Technician to enhance our Harness Assembly team. Reporting to the Manager of Production Assembly, you will be instrumental in assembling harnesses that support various subsystems for our ocean-going vehicles, including cameras, actuators, and battery systems. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks such as soldering, crimped harness assembly, and testing. Whether working on unique prototypes or production batches, your meticulous attention to detail and quality will be crucial. We seek an adept individual capable of accurately interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions while upholding an organized workspace. Collaboration and problem-solving skills will be essential as you work alongside the Production Team to create innovative and high-quality products.
THE TEAM
The Harness Assembly team is tasked with producing top-notch internal and deck harnesses for all drone platforms. We are committed to ensuring that all builds meet mission timelines, with materials adhering to engineering and IPC 620 specifications, thus guaranteeing the reliability of our autonomous systems.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble new products with minimal work instructions or directly from harness drawings.
- Build critically, with the ability to recognize when to seek clarification based on past experiences.
- Consistently maintain high-quality work, prioritizing attention to detail.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
- Promote a safe, clean, and healthy work environment in compliance with company standards.
