Your expertise will ensure that systems comply with federal Information Assurance (IA) directives, secure data across all classification levels (including Sensitive Compartmented Information), and align with necessary security design, control, and documentation standards. The ISSE will also play a crucial role in developing key RMF artifacts such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Risk Assessment Reports (RARs), and ongoing monitoring documentation.
