The Rental Service Agent plays a vital dual role:
- Champion of Customer Experience for rentals
- Sales Specialist focused on RV demonstrations and conversions
This position is essential to ensuring that customers depart satisfied, whether starting their rental journey or investing in their future RV.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent is responsible for executing all customer-facing rental operations and delivering professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This hands-on, customer-focused role combines service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. Across both rentals and sales, this role ensures that every vehicle, interaction, and customer moment reflects the high standards of Indie Campers.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Customer Service & Operations: Conduct check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide ongoing rental support. Handle service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and perform RV demos, highlighting features, specifications, and customer-specific needs. Ensure smooth handovers and that all documentation is complete.
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Track leads, demos, and follow-ups in the CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities and assist the RV Sales District and City Lead in meeting targets.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Indie Campers RV models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.
