About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Data Clerk to join our Warehouse & Distribution team. This vital position involves accurately entering daily receipts into the Stratton Warren computer system. Timely and precise data entry is crucial for the overall efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the receiving, purchasing, and accounts payable departments to ensure seamless processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and record company-issued purchase orders with our vendors.Prepare and organize data for computer entry by compiling and sorting necessary information.Input completed purchase order and invoice packets provided by the receiving attendant.Create accurate receiver documents by verifying that all items on the purchase order, invoice, and receiver documents align through careful data review.Ensure data integrity by checking, correcting, deleting, or re-entering information as necessary.Address discrepancies by following standard procedures or escalating incomplete documents to the on-duty supervisor.Prioritize daily workload to manage data entry efficiently.Process paperwork promptly, ensuring all document packets are copied, stapled, and filed appropriately for daily operations.Deliver all original paperwork to the Accounts Payable department on a daily basis.Adhere to data entry standards by following established techniques and procedures.Purge files to eliminate data duplication.Maintain operations by following company policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.Protect company confidentiality by handling sensitive information discreetly.Collaborate closely with warehouse receiving, purchasing, and accounts payable teams to achieve shared objectives.Essential FunctionsWork in a casino environment with exposure to factors such as secondhand smoke and excessive noise.Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting with competing priorities.Physical capability to stand, sit, bend, and twist throughout the shift, moving around various areas of the casino/hotel.Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts/hours.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED required.Experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.Basic math and computer skills are essential.Strong 10-key and typing proficiency.Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
