Join our team as a Music Therapist, dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Austin.
As a Music Therapist, you will provide tailored therapy services to clients aged 21 and up, enhancing their quality of life through the power of music.
Your daily activities may include:
Traveling to clients’ homes or day habilitation centers to deliver personalized therapy sessions and group activities as applicable.
Documenting therapy sessions and coordinating with families and case managers to communicate progress and updates.

In this role, you will:
Address a variety of physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs through effective music therapy interventions.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans to achieve both short and long-term goals.
Demonstrate adaptability in working with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Submit timely documentation of therapy sessions within a 24-hour timeframe.
Ensure confidentiality of client records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
Maintain ongoing communication with families and case managers regarding client progress.
