Role overview
The IT Endpoint Specialist joins the Digital Workplace and Identity team, focusing on the security and performance of Everpure's global end-user ecosystem. This position manages a fleet of about 7,000 endpoints, including Mac, Windows, and Linux devices, as well as Amazon Workspace VDIs. Reporting to the IT Endpoint Manager, the specialist shifts between hands-on technical support and designing automation for large-scale deployments. Collaboration with SecOps is central to maintaining endpoint security and compliance. Agile methods guide project delivery, and ITIL principles support ongoing improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Global fleet management: Oversee the lifecycle, monthly patching, and major OS rollouts for approximately 7,000 Mac, Windows, and Linux endpoints to maintain compliance and stability.
- Automation: Develop and maintain build scripts and automation workflows using PowerShell, Shell, and Python for zero-touch deployments and large-scale application distribution.
- Virtual and mobile management: Administer Amazon Workspace VDIs and support global BYOD programs, using VMware Workspace ONE, JAMF Pro, and Google Workspace to ensure secure access.
- Endpoint security: Partner with SecOps to implement endpoint security, manage digital certificates, and connect Splunk with WS1/JAMF for auditing and real-time risk assessment.
- Support enablement: Create architectural documentation and SOPs, and deliver training to global support teams to improve troubleshooting standards.
Requirements
- Tooling experience: At least 6 years of advanced administration with VMware Workspace ONE (WS1) and JAMF Pro, with strong skills in Mac OS and Windows (10/11), plus AWS Workspace experience.
