Role Overview: Safety Advisor Level 2
This Safety Advisor Level 2 position is based at Brussels Airport. Level 1 Safety Advisors are also invited to apply. The role helps maintain and improve safety standards across Aviapartner’s Belgian airports.
Main Responsibilities
- Advise and assist on the risk management system, including risk analysis, accident investigation, occupational disease analysis, workplace organization, training, procurement, onboarding, collaboration with third parties, emergency procedures, and audits.
- Work closely with the team to strengthen the safety policy at Belgian airports, with a focus on Brussels.
- Ensure all legal and administrative safety and prevention requirements are met, including preparing monthly and annual reports, notifications, and handling secretarial tasks for the Health and Safety Committee.
- Act as a resource for the employer, management, and employees by providing expert safety advice.
Reporting Structure
The Safety Advisor reports to the Head of the recognized Common Internal Service for Prevention and Protection (CISP), which oversees airports in Brussels, Liège, Ostend, and Antwerp for cargo, passenger, and private flights.
