We are seeking a Senior AI/NLP/Machine Learning Engineer for one of our key clients located in Brussels - a prominent European Institution. You will contribute to legislative, policy, and HR projects for various Directorates General within the EU network. Your role will involve developing corporate solutions such as HR systems (SYSPER, e-Sire), financial rights solutions (NAP, Assmal2), personal selection tools (Talent Suite), document management systems (ARES), and decision-making processes (DECIDE, LEOS/EdiT). Your assignments may evolve with project demands, and you will play a vital role in driving innovation and supporting the implementation of digital transformation and EU policies.
Please note that you must be based in Belgium and work in a hybrid model (office attendance 1-2 times per week) with full rights to work in Belgium as a freelancer/contractor on a B2B basis.
As an AI/NLP/ML Expert, your responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining software applications in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI);
Training custom machine learning and deep learning models utilizing both structured and unstructured data;
Feature selection, model building, and optimization;
