Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development initiatives and dam practice within the region.
- Act as program manager, project manager, or technical lead, guiding teams through major dams and hydropower projects, emphasizing client communication and successful delivery.
- Pursue significant dam and hydropower projects across Canada, spearheading major proposals and engaging clients.
- Assist senior leadership in formulating business strategies for dams and hydropower based on market trends and identify opportunities within the business line and adjacent sectors.
- Engage in client-facing activities to foster business relationships with existing and prospective clients, collaborating with industry groups and stakeholders.
- Devise strategies and capture plans for major pursuits, aligning with AECOM’s business development strategies and technical capabilities. Coordinate project opportunities with the Dams & Hydropower Growth Lead and senior leaders in the Water Business Line.
- Maintain regular client interactions to ensure satisfaction with AECOM services and collaborate with project delivery teams to proactively address client feedback.
- Work with AECOM's Technical Practice Leads to align team skills with market trends and drive strategic technical leadership hiring.
