The ideal candidate must be open to regular travel.We are looking for an individual with a solid background in site engineering and a desire to progress towards project management, capable of leading technical delivery as part of our project delivery team.You will also need to grasp the commercial implications of the work, manage scope and subcontractors, escalate risks, and contribute to the broader commercial management of the project.Key Responsibilities:Act as the technical lead across all project sites, ensuring the technical delivery meets project requirements.Serve as the Temporary Works Lead, collaborating closely with the Construction Manager to ensure designs and requirements are effectively planned and executed to minimize safety risks and delays.Maintain up-to-date drawing registers, ensuring site teams are adhering to the correct specifications.Conduct technical reviews and dimension checks against design data, addressing any technical queries promptly to avoid delays.Engage in design and constructability reviews during both the design and construction phases.Timely identification and escalation of any design or scope ambiguities to the commercial team.Lead project-based procurement for critical technical items, working with the buying team and Construction Manager to maintain an accurate procurement schedule.Implement robust processes to minimize defects during and post-construction, ensuring any issues are addressed swiftly.Collaborate with the QA/QC project team to manage and execute Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) processes and maintain QA/QC documentation.Oversee the efficient management of as-built mark-up processes throughout the project lifecycle.Utilize GPS coordinates and point cloud technology for civil works setting out, supported by mechanical engineering for critical tasks.Ensure current service information is available and up-to-date for each site team, assisting with perimeter requirements.
