We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in Corning, New York. This role is integral to supporting our CET Customer Service team through efficient order management, including order entry and logistics coordination.In this position, you'll be working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., contributing to a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and relationship-building skills are essential.

Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree required.Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.Position Overview:The Customer Service Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless transactions for our domestic and international clients. You will manage customer orders with precision and maintain effective communication throughout the order lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Receive, validate, and accurately enter customer orders in a timely manner using Optical Fiber’s PeopleSoft order management system.Develop product and pricing knowledge to independently respond to RFQs and generate quotes.Monitor open orders and shipment reports to meet customer Requested Ship Dates and organizational Promise Dates, taking proactive measures as needed.Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and implement corrective actions when necessary.Create and maintain customer profiles and buying agreements within COF and Corporate PeopleSoft systems, coordinating with COF Commercial Ops to keep them updated.Ensure OptoCommerce® Fiber Data Delivery (FDD) availability for all customer shipments when required.Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours regarding orders, FDD, and general product information.Develop technical product knowledge to effectively recommend fiber products based on customer needs.Foster strong working relationships with internal teams including Planning, Shipping, QA, IT, Finance, Commercial Ops, and external customers.Process return material authorizations and generate credits as needed.Collaborate with customers and Commercial Ops to resolve payment discrepancies.Participate in project work or business teams as necessary.Support sales initiatives as required.
