You will conduct hydrological assessments that guide flood risk management, infrastructure planning, water resource strategies, and environmental permits.This senior position merges technical proficiency with client interaction, project management, and team leadership in a rapidly expanding water team.Your Responsibilities:Lead hydrological assessments to facilitate flood risk evaluations, infrastructure designs, catchment strategies, and environmental impact assessments.Provide technical guidance on rainfall-runoff modeling, river flow estimations, climate change implications, and catchment analyses.Oversee and evaluate hydrological modeling outputs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to UK regulatory standards.Act as the technical lead on major frameworks and multidisciplinary projects spanning transportation, energy, water, and development sectors.Advise clients regarding flood risk policies, drainage strategies, abstraction licenses, and environmental permitting requirements.Mentor and nurture junior hydrologists, promoting technical excellence and collaborative knowledge sharing.Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.If you are passionate about innovation and turning visionary ideas into reality, AECOM is eager to welcome you.
