About the Role
We are actively seeking a dedicated HVAC Installation Assistant to support our Lead Installer in executing installations with precision and efficiency. This full-time position will report directly to the Install Manager and will be based at our expanding office in Glastonbury, CT.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Installer in all installation tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Help stage jobs effectively by confirming that all necessary materials are present and meet quality standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle.
- Engage in training sessions and meetings to further professional development.
- Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
- Possess or be willing to obtain necessary certifications as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the HVAC field is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Safety is paramount; a general knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA standards is necessary.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, handle controls, and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and navigate small crawl spaces.
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move over 50 lbs is essential.
- Work environments will vary by season and project scope, requiring outdoor work throughout the year.
